Vcheck cTSH is an in vitro diagnostic test kit for the quantitative measurement of canine  TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) in serum. TSH is secreted by the anterior pituitary and promotes release of thyroid hormones. Measurement of TSH provides information on the interaction between the pituitary and thyroid gland. Serum cTSH concentration is usually increased in dogs with hypothyroidism. Vcheck cTSH can assist in diagnosing canine hypothyroidism. It is designed to be used only by veterinarians.
