Dentanomicin käsikappaleen vaihdettava periosteal kärjet.

Surgical extractions involve lifting a flap of gingiva from the alveolar bone, before removing bone overlying the tooth root.

Our periosteal blades have a special combination of sharp leading edge, rounded curves and angled sides, to make lifting a gingival flap fast and simple.

PERIOSTEAL ELEVATION TECHNIQUE

Periosteal elevation is essential for raising muco-periosteal (gingival) flaps before surgical extraction.

  1. Incise the gingiva to form the flap of your choice.
  2. Insert the blade under the gingiva, pressing down onto the bone & work the blade from side to side to lift the periosteum from the bone.
  3. Gently lift the instrument to peel the periosteum away from the bone.
