MERLIN is a microprocessor-controlled ventilator designed by vets for vets. We have done away with conventional pressurised gas driving mechanisms and use a precisely controlled piston that can accurately deliver volumes in the range 1ml to 800mls.
Merlin can be pressure-cycled, volume cycled or time-cycled and the inspiratory and expiratory times are fully and independently variable without the need to re-adjust after changes in flow rates or volumes. A pressure control allows you to set the maximum allowable pressure during volume cycling or the target pressure during pressure cycling.
A further added feature is the inspiratory assist control that will tune the ventilator to your patient during recovery and so assist weaning from the ventilator. On the front of the unit is a large easily readable display that shows all of your selected parameters. These parameters are continuously updated reflecting every adjustment made.
We believe Merlin is truly innovative in being the first veterinary ventilator to calculate and display the compliance of the patient being ventilated.

Produced in a lightweight yet tough thermoplastic cabinet to accommodate the components and machinery of the concentrator, while not hindering mobility or convenience of the overall unit. Cabinet also has a flame retardant incorporated into the plastic as an added safety feature.
The Pro Family of units are capable of achieving flow rates between: 0.125 – 5.0 Liters per Minute (LPM).
Concentration of the Pro Family is in the range of 90.0% (+ 5.6/ – 3.0) of purified Oxygen.
Storage temperature for these units are between -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 60 degrees Celsius).
Ambient air temperature for operation of the machines are in the range of 41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, or 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. Operating outside of these temperatures will still allow for purified Oxygen production, but will lower the shelf life of machine as well as the overall production and purity of Oxygen content.
The Pro Series is available in both 115 Volt/ 60 Hertz and 230 Volt/ 50 Hertz configurations, to allow for use worldwide.
Safe and accurate delivery of anesthetic gas for all your animal subjects. Our vaporizers deliver a very fine, highly accurate, and consistent dose of Isoflurane or Sevoflurane to the anesthesia machine.
250cc Liquid anesthetic capacity- nearly twice as much as other vaporizers
Flow-rate and temperature compensation device
Constructed of high grade steel and brass with precision manufacture unequaled in the industry
Three year warranty
Available for use with Isoflurane and Sevoflurane, and with funnel and key fill (pin index) options
Warranty terms The following warranty terms apply to the sale of LM-Instruments Oy’s products (hereinafter “Products”) to a purchasing company or individual by LM-Instruments Oy (hereinafter “Manufacturer”). Manufacturer here by warrants that the Products will be free from defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase by a customer from Manufacturer’s authorized dealer (hereinafter “Authorized Dealer”). The warranty period is exceptionally three (3) months for products with a life inherently shorter than 24 months due to normal wear and tear, for example ultrasonic scaler tips and tips of endodontics.
This warranty shall not apply to Products or parts thereof; which have been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident or are not connected to proper power supply; to which any modification, alteration or attachment has been made without written consent of the Manufacturer; or which are installed or operated violating instructions for installation, use and maintenance; which are normally consumed in operation. The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to correct or circumvent the errors or to repair or replacement of defective parts of Products by the Manufacturer, EXW Manufacturer’s factory, providing that a written claim of the defect is sent to the Manufacturer within the warranty period and the original part is returned to Manufacturer’s factory by the Authorized Dealer, and Manufacturer’s inspection establishes the existence of such a defect. The customer must contact the Authorized Dealer from whom the products were purchased to request repair or replacement under this warranty and a written claim of the defects and send the original Product the Authorized Dealer. This warranty is void if service or repair is performed by persons not authorized by the manufacturer. Any Products not manufactured by the Manufacturer, carries only such warranty, if any, as given by any manufacturer thereof.
